Founding of the Company

GanaWare is a privately held software company founded in mid-2001 by a team of highly experienced IT professionals who saw a unique opportunity to create a whole new breed of enterprise application that can revolutionalize how people work together as a team as well as offer unprecedented new levels of productivity, efficiency and business management.

Coincidentally, around the same time, Gartner began to coin the term "Business Activity Monitoring" (BAM) to describe a new category of enterprise applications that provide real-time access to critical business performance indicators to improve the speed and effectiveness of business operations.

The Product Idea

The idea for GanaWare GanaWare Management (SFM) software came about when the four co-founders brainstormed on how their core competences can be used collectively to create a new enterprise application with true value-added capabilities unseen in any current application. Most of the co-founders have been working in the IT industry for close to two decades and have extensive experiences in enterprise applications. Their core competences are in real-time mission critical Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, enterprise middleware technologies, and robust distributed architectures. The founders saw the growing importance of productivity and efficiency in today's highly competitive market. They also saw the difficulties in managing enterprises in today's rapid changing business environment and the practical problems in implementing various management methodologies, such as the Balanced Scorecard, Six Sigma, etc.

The founders saw tremendous values in a software that can solve these problems. This resulted in a clear company mission statement: "To create enterprise software that creates synergies and promotes corporate strategies."

The founders realized the key to solving all these problems is simple - increase the level of awareness within an organization both at the operations and management levels; awareness not only on what's happening but also on performances of the execution. GanaWare SFM product dramatically increases awareness and directly contributes to increased synergies and increased manageability. SFM uses advanced AI data mining techniques to capture important real-time business information and automatically distributes them to all relevant people throughout an organization via a sophisticated and highly scalable XML-based middleware infrastructure. This "stream" of business knowledge and information is also automatically monitored by a collection of intelligent AI smart agents that know the roles and responsibilities of each and every person in the organization and the type of information they need to get work done. Users can also create their own smart agents with their own monitoring rules. ThesSFMart agents automatically send alerts and reminders to keep the company on track and on its toes. To support management methodologies, smart agents also ensure all corporate guidelines, objectives and goals are within bounds by updating management measures in real-time. This capability of being instantly aware of all important business information so that immediate actions can be taken is unprecedented in any software in the market today.
