Historically, golf instruction has been always been run from a male viewpoint. Because ladies are different, both in physical and psychological aspects, look for a golf instruction program that presents golf from a woman’s perspective.

The first lessons should be designed for women who have very little knowledge about the game. These lessons should cover such fundamentals as the object of the game, how to keep score, proper equipment, etiquette on the golf course, appropriate clothing to wear on a golf course, the rules of golf, and definitions of golf terms.

The lessons that would follow in a golf instruction program designed for ladies should then explain such concepts as stance, set-up, pre-shot routines, and how the club impacts the ball. Drills in basic skills should also be included.

One of the best things that you can do to improve your swing is to use a golf swing analyzer. Launch monitors are available at most stores that sell golf equipment and can make a tremendous difference in your game. By using a swing analyzer, you can track important statistics like your ball speed, spin rate, club head speed, and launch angle. All of these factors contribute to how your ball flies and the distance that it will travel. If you don’t have access to any store that has a launch monitor, you can buy rudimentary equipment online that will measure your club head speed. This is one of the more important statistics and can help you to determine whether or not you are playing the proper flex in your shafts.

The golf swing speed dictates how far you can hit the ball. One way to increase your golf swing speed is to change equipment by making your clubs lighter.

Changing your golf equipment to be fitted with lighter shafts can get you several extra yards on all your shots. Instead of playing heavy, steel shafts in your irons, consider switching to graphite shafts. Graphite shafts are considerably lighter than steel shafts, which will make it easier to accelerate the golf club in the swing. If you prefer steel shafts in your irons, you can still choose lighter steel shafts that will help to improve your golf swing speed. Finally, consider changing to a driver that has a lighter head. Coupled with a light shaft, this combination can provide maximum distance.

Often times it can seem like good golf instruction equipment is hard to come by. However, this is not always the case as many stores now carry quality golf instruction equipment at affordable prices. When giving golf lessons, it is very important that the instructor provide quality equipment for their students to use. Typically this will not be professional grade and is designed perfectly for beginners. Whatever the case, it is vital that more than decent golf instruction equipment be available to the student so that they may have the right experience in getting a feel for the game. Without quality golf instruction equipment, this would certainly not be possible.
